Member Since: March 2005 Posts: 1 Send Message	I am trying to lacate anyone related to a family of Kananovitch's - variously spelled a Cananowitch, Kananowitch etc. They came to England between the 1871 and 1881 census from Poland and lived in central and East London. Whitechapel - Stepney Solomon and his wife Sarah (Sere Klementovski)) moved to Leicester somewhere around 1902/3. Children were - Rebecca, Annie, Miriam, Frances (Fannie), Myer (Lou), Jacob (Jack), Dinah, Esther, Milcah, Dora and Gershoni (Joseph). The family changed their name to Can(n)on, and some of the children moved back to London.
