Find Ancestors

I'm trying to trace a distant cousin of my late mother, Marjorie Hopkins (1918-1989). 'Cousin Dolly' was originally either a Maddox or a Hopkins and I believe was born in/around Birmingham between 1900 & 1920. She emigrated to USA (date unknown) and was living in Bloomfield, New Jersey in c1960. Presumably Katz was her married name. Any info would be gratefully received.
