Do you have the information which will solve this family mystery? Mary Jane KEMP (born 3/2/1872) married William James THOMAS (born 1872), and had a daughter Beatrice Jane Thomas (born 14/10/1893). They all were born in, and resided in Cornwall. When Beatrice was between 2 and 3 years old, she was told by her father that her mother (Mary Jane) had died of smallpox, along with their two young twins. The year Mary Jane is supposed to have died would be approx. 1895 - 1896, but there's no record of her death, and there was no record of a smallpox epidemic at that time. Do you have this illusive Mary Jane Thomas (nee Kemp) on your tree, or have you come across her name in your researching? Please help if you can - this mystery is driving me crazy! Thanks :)
