Trying to find Kimpton

I am trying to find details of my grandfather Samuel Kimpton who was born either in 1837 or 1839 in Herfordshire and migrated later to Australia. I have the details of the ship he sailed on but nothing further back. There is apparently a Samuel Kimpton listed in the births for both years. Local marriage records suggest the 1837 date as being the right one. As I don't have a clue how to access UK records I would appreciate any help in finding out more about Samuel who ended up being a member of a pioneer family on the south coast of NSW, Australia George Kimpton [email protected] |
