He was in the Cheshire Regiment

Marriages Jun 1919 King Gerald H Stamp Birkenhead 8a 1348 He would be around 39 yrs of age. The only way of knowing would be to purchase the Marriage cert & cross refrence his fathers name with what you already know of him
