I now live in New Zealand but my father William Lang was born in London area in about 1908, he had a full brother Jack. William married Ethel Pattenden (my mother). Jack and William were also known as Brown, because my grandmother married again and had I believe 4 other children, Victor, Alice, and two others. Jack Lang married twice and had two children by the first marriage Joseph (who last known lived in Rottingdean Kent) and another son (name unknown) and then married a second time and had a son John Lang (and there was a half sister) from a previous marriage Norma. Joseph, the first son of the first marriage married the sister of his fathers second wife. I have been in New Zealand since 1971, and my mother and stepfather Ernest came to New Zealand in 1974, they have since passed away. William Lang worked in Billingsgate Fish Market as a potato salesman. Looking forward to hearing from you Sandra Stewart (nee Lang) |
