Hi does anyone have any info re Austin Edward Lawley c1890 in Ireland
Married Hilda Hopkin 1917/1918 who died 7/12/1918 after child birth. Lived in Chediston Suffolk. (My husbands Grandparents)

Michelle, have you searched 1901 and 1911 Irish census - they are free?

Thanks for PM, though not entirely sure why you sent it! Anyway, if you can't find a marriage, I wonder where you have found info. re, his birthplace and year?
I can't see any of their children born in Suffolk, but I guess not relevant as you must have those!

can't see any sign of him being in the military .... although we all know that only about 30% of the records have survived!!

No haven't found marriage
The name came from my mother in law (now deceased) and on the memoriam card distributed at the funeral of Hilda which has been passed down thro the family
