Grand father - HERBERT LAWRENCE 1874/5 BORN CALCUTTA, INDIA . His father was HERBERT LAWRENCE - ARCHITECT. Am trying to find info on my grandfather's parents. Have so far found details of my grandfather from the age of 6 (UK Census in England) as a visitor, no parents mentioned. Believe that Herbert Lawrence senior worked as an architect in India where apparently my great grandmother died. My grandfather ended up living and marrying in BRISTOL where there are still lots of grandchildren. There may be a connection with a Levermore family in London (according to my mum) but havent found any evidence of this. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks |
