Member Since: January 2004 Posts: 11 Send Message	I am trying to trace 3 sisters/spinsters/cousins in the Leggett family who were 'guardians' over my father as he grew up in South Shields, C Durham.I believe the church played some part in the arrangement, as he was born in 1919 before legal adoption procedures were put into place.His new 'parents' were Winifred & Albert Steere.
