Seeking the mother of Jean Leishman Stewart bp 1824 Paddington Father William Stewart and mother Mary Ann? Was Mary Ann a LEISHMAN? I cannot find the marriage of William Stewart to Mary Ann. However their first child William George Stewart was b. 1818 bp 1819 Chelsea. JEAN LEISHMAN STEWART marriage Frederick Priest then gave all her children the middle name of Stewart. Looks like a family tradition to use mother's maiden name as middle name for children. Does anyone have a MARY ANN LEISHMAN born or bp around 1796 in London, or Middlesex or maybe surrounding Counties, because mostly the name seems to be Scottish. Help would be greatly appreciated. Can exchange info, fair amount on the `Stewart Priests' children of Jean Leishman Stewart.
