Ernest b.1888 at St Marys Battersea, London, married Mary Ardley (nee McDonall) who came from Kilkenny in Ireland, she had 8 sisters and lost her first husband in WW1. Between her & Ernest they had 7 living children. Ernest's father was James b1853 & mother Caroline - both parents were born at 'On Tweed, Berwickshire, Scotland' - they had 5 children.
I do not think my grd parents were married, I can not find a marriage cert. Has any one got any more info on this family please, either the London ones or Scottish ones. I am not having much fun trying to unearth any info. My mother was one of Ernests daughters and she married Donald Creed.
Any info would be much app. Thanks Chris
