Hello, I am trying to find more on my MacFarlane line... Alexander MacFarlane of Scotland immigrated to NY around 1807-8 with his son, Daniel MacFarlane (died 1812 in USA) and his wife Jane Duff of Moulin, Perthshire, Scotland(died 1809 USA) Their son Alexander Bruce McFarlan (sp. changed) born Dec, 1, 1796, Moulin, Perthshire, Scotland, Married Guiseppina M. Sardo..... There is a chance we are direct descendants in the family of Clan chiefs but I cannot tell in the written history I have if they are just giving the history of the clan or my ancestry line!!! I could go on, and give many details...but If this sounds familiar to anyone or if you have any info on the line before it left Scotland, etc.., I would really appreciate it!! I am also a member of the Clan MacFarlane Society and need to send them my updated info....but I wanted to check here as well!! Many Thanks, Breonna |
