I am looking for anyone who has ancestors who has the name of Macham in their tree. Especially from Shropshire.... I would very intersted inhearing from anyone who has come across this surname during their research in any part of the UK.

My paternal line is Macham and they seem to have heralded from Shropshire - mainly from Shifnal, Ryton or Worfield area.

I would appreciate hearing from anyone who has perhaps come across this surname during their researchings. I have yet to find anyone who is descended from a Macham.

I am looking for those who may be descended from William and Maria Macham and their sons - Charles (cir 1835), John (cir 1833), William (cir 1841), George (cir 1843) and Thomas (born 1848 - my 3x's grandfather).

Its worth noting that there have been several different spellings of the name over the years re census'.

Thanks
Marie
