Member Since: January 2007 Posts: 1 Send Message	My Father was born at 33 crossbost on Lewis and his mother is Gormelia Macleod , who had 4 brothers Roderick,Malcolm,John,Donald whose parents were Dolina and Malcolm . My father was taken away from his mother from the authorities and brought up in the black isle as he was born out of wedlock ? I would love to find out where Gormelia went too as she seemed to have disapeared . i beleive she married twice ( urquart and ither jones or stewart.) She had a daughter named Dolly .

Member Since: July 2003 Posts: 1 Send Message	hi there, i believe Gormelia went to Edinburgh, i saw her name in the Croft History ,Isle of Lewis , volume 4 book by Bill Lawson. My family finally settled at 26 Crossbost. If you want to email your address i will photocopy the page for you, it also tells all who lived at no 33 and who they married and where they settled.
