I believe my GG Grandfather George Manton was the son of Gildon Manton and Martha (Unknown) as per the following extracted record on IGI

IGI shows the same ch date for Gildon and Edward 11.06.1823 but has Gildon b 04.04.1820 and Edward b 23.04.1823 so probably not twins just ch at the same time?

Lindsey yes it looks as if Martha died in 1837 as we suspected before - hence no mention on the 1841 census you kindly found.
