hi my name is helen hart nee lewis. i am trying to find info about my grandmother dorothy marks.d.o.b. 23/04/1915. she was born in morriston in swansea, her birth was registered in the district of Llangafelach. dorothy also had a brother named danny he was an albino. dorothys mother was named on her birth cert as mary maud marks. but mary maud marks mother catherine lewis changed her name 2 days after her birth to alice may lewis. dorothy spent all her life in morriston in swansea. she had 3 children the eldest a son named thomas john marks, the second a daughter named eileen marks my mother and the third a son named david marks.at one stage there was 3 generations of the same family living together. a william marks has also been mentioned but i dont know if this was dorothys father or grandfather. any info would be great however little. many thanks helen.
