Member Since: January 2003 Posts: 3 Send Message	I'm Heather Marr born 1955 Ayrshire Scotland. My Father John Marr born 1922 Ross and Cromarty Sc. His father also John Marr--born?? where?? Not a very original lot with names are we? [My brother and his son are also John] I'm interested to know if anyone thinks that their family tree connects with ours a couple of generations ago. We are now in NZ and the family has grown here so that I now have a grandson. Keen to know any info. [email protected]

Member Since: August 2005 Posts: 3 Send Message	hello Heather my great great grandfather was called john marr he was born in midlothian, moved to the isle sheppey in kent and worked as a shipwright, he was born 1841, and married frances hodges in 1863.He moved back to scotland with his family sometime after 1868, his father was called james. maybe a match? regards, margaret
