I am looking for the present day family of my grandmother Esther Louisa Mason born 22nd October 1868 address 5 Cowley Terrace Cowley Rd, Saint Clement Headington Oxford. 1871 Census Friars Wharf, St Ebbe Holy Trinity Oxford. Her Father was James Mason ,a painter, born in 1845. She joined the Salvation Army and was sent to India in 1888 where she met and married my grandfather Joseph Mackertich, my Mother was born. in November 1891. On the way to meet my Greatmother both my Mother and Grandmother contacted smallpox my Grandmother did not survive. This is all the information I have. As I am now 82 I would like to trace this portion of my family of which I know little. Denis King |
