JESSIE MATTHEWS - 1907-1981 To all those very kind people who have been giving me help in trying to unravel my oral family history which says that Jessie Matthews was my grandmothers cousin, I would like to say a very big THANK YOU. I am getting a step closer with each message from you all and I will get to the truth if it kills me! I have a copy of the signed photo of Jessie Matthews which my Great Grandmother (Jessie's alleged aunt) proudly displayed in a frame in her 'front room'. Every time I look at it I am spurred on to try and prove what my now very elderly family keep telling me is a fact. Thanks to everyone. Trina |
