i am looking for infomation regarding my husbands grandfather who was married to florence todd and lived in birmingham.i understand that frederick was born or came from reading.

Their marriage certificate would be a good starting point. You'll learn his age, name of his father and father's occupation.

It might help identify him in earlier censuses
