	Scottish birth certs do usually give the date of the parents marriage although not always correct What info have you got on their ages? Occupation for George- coal miner? 1901 has a George b1879 with occupation of ironstone miner

	I do hate that when they alter the original post as it wastes members time. Different dates and more info that should have been included in the original post. Why not post a reason why the post was altered !!!!!!!!!!!

Member Since: June 2004 Posts: 1,296 Send Message	I have found only one record on ScotlandsPeople which is for 1907..... 1907 MCARTHUR GEORGE MCKINNEY ELIZABETH AIRDRIE OR NEW MONKLAND /LANARK 651/00 0117 the couple are aged 23 and 22 so unless you are way out with estimated years of birth this probably isn't them. As Glitter Baby says we need more information to be able to help you further

	Plean, near Bannockburn, - between Stirling and Falkirk - so Scotland How have you arrived at the names and approx year of birth? You must have some more info !!! When did they live in Plean?

	Have you got the marriage cert? If Scottish then that would tell you the names of the parents

Member Since: June 2007 Posts: 9 Send Message	Trying to find any information on George Mcarthur (c1879) and Elizabeth Mcarthur nee Mckinnie (c1879). They lived in Plean would like to know about their parents and siblings and where they were born. Grateful for any information. I found their names on my grandfathers marriage certificate Its not got any dates for them. My grandfather john was born 24 july 1907 he had a twin brother george brothers david james danny tommy they lived in plean near stirling he was a coal miner and his father also was when he got a bit older he lived at 12 loanfoot gardens plean.
