I'm trying to find out some more information on the McCormack/Cormack family who lived in Islington. My Grandmothers maiden name was Cormack and her mother was Mary Cormack, although on 3 consecutive census's their names where McCormack and my Grandmother's name on her marriage certificate was McCormack. My Grandmother Ellen was born in 1893 and her mother Mary was born in 1876. She later had 2 more children both boys James and George whose surnames where Beacroft. Mary's fathers name was William born 1838 in Co Tipperary, Ireland and he was married to an Ellen Cagney born 1839 possibly in Rathkeale, Limerick, Ireland. i believe that my Grandmothers fathers name was John McCormack as named on her marriage certificate. Any information would be much appreciated.
