I am searching for any info re; my mothers family : she was no.4/7children,Mary,Marion,Janet,Mima,Elizabeth,Robert, and Andrew, who died at the age of two. Now all deceased Father was Andrew McCrindle sometime worked as Railway Insp./Insurance Agent./Auctioneer? Family lived in Green Street Bothwell. Father also lived FegusliePark in Paisley in latter years with second wife ?McGrory? Mother was Elizabeth Leckie,who left Andrew when family were all quite young and as far as is known went to Aberdeen and re-married?Andrew had brother Robert..? sister Nan? Nan lived in Harbour Street in Ayr I think her married name was Harbison? I only remember Nan's 1 Daughter I think Rena and a connection to Racecourse Rd in Ayr,also Annbank Ayr.Searching also for relations of Nell and Jimmy Brown of Motherwell I was named Helen after her, I dont remember much about them except that they had an organ in their front room , and a story about Jimmy rescueing some children from a tent that had caught fire from a candle , when they were on holiday in Irvine in Ayrshire.
