Member Since: September 2006 Posts: 1 Send Message	Trying to link Dr David Livingstone to my family, i'm told we are descendants via his cousin Catherine Livingstone who is my mothers gg grandmother.The family lived in blantyre (McEwan, McDougall) and I believe some relatives emigrated overseas. If anyone can give me any info it would be greatly appreciated. Thanx

Member Since: October 2006 Posts: 43 Send Message	Hi there, I am told that my Gt. Grandmother Catherine McLean ( later married Alexander Campbell ) was a 2nd cousin to David Livingstone. My Gt. Grandparents were born on The Isle of Mull, The Livingstones originally from The Isle of Ulva ( near Mull ) As David Livingstone was born on 19.03.1813 in Blantyre that would have been Catherine McLean's parents generation! They were called Hugh McLean + Euphemia MacDonald!! So unfortunately that's as far as I have got.
