Trying to find McNally

Hello, I'm trying to find any record of my grandfather James McNally. All I have is his marriage certificate to Elizabeth Fleming Hodge in 1916 Glasgow. It states that he was 24 at the time of his marriage and his parents names were Patrick McNally and Mary Keegan. His profession was 5th Batt Irish Guards. We believe he came over from Belfast but can find no record of his birth. He went to America in 1934 and was never heard of again. Please can anybody help solve this 80 year old mystery. The whole family would be thrilled to put this search to rest. Thank-you...
