GF Grandparents

Grianaig Report 2 May 2011 15:15

Hi Trying to trace my GF Parental heritage.

She is the youngest of 5 children and her parents died young, so info about the Grandparents is scarce.

All I know is her father Henry Leitch Mills was born in Ireland in 1924, her mother Margaret Moore in 1932.

Her father had parents named as William Mills & Elizabeth Gillian, were they born in Ireland? I might never know but hope that someone might know of this link.

Yes she is alive, cause I do my own family tree she asked if I could look into hers.

Her mum died about 9yrs ago and her dad about 1980. Can't ask her siblings as they don't get on as such. Cause it's after 1901 & 1911 census records won't be of any help.

She would like to know if she still has family in Ireland, think Donegal.

We seem to be able to go backwards, but not to far forwards.
You might try 192.com loads of Mills in Ballymoney. Or try searching the trees on here or facebook is another alternative.

greyghost Report 24 Jul 2017 15:35

Zander - the post is 6 years old so Grianaig may well not be looking for answers now.

You can try clicking on his/her name to send a message through the GR system.

If the email he registered with is still in use then they can let him know there is a message in the system.

You have to hope that email still works and that Grianaig is around to receive it, still interested, wants to reply etc
