Hello Joan

I have a number of ancesters (Philcox's) born in and around the Hackney area in the 1850s-onwards.

Unfortunately my pc hard drive has given up the ghost and am awaiting a replacement on Mon when I'll find out whether I've retained/lost 3+years research of my Philcox family who originated from East Sussex, some of whom moved to East London around 1840 onwards.

Incidentally I was born in West London.

Regards.

Mike Philcox
