Hi I am looking for any of my family that are left in Ireland. My grandfather was born in the Bogside part of Derry around 1885-87. His father was Patrick Mooney and his mother was Sarah (nee) Quigly. He moved to Burnfoot and married my grandmother Elizabeth (nee) Lynch, she was from a farm nearby called Calhaime. They had three children, John, Sarah (called Sadie) and my dad who was Hugh. My grandfather was called Hugh Patrick Mooney.My grandmother died at a early age leaving the three children with my grandfather. John settled in Scotland, Sadie came to Wales and my dad and grandfather came to Wales also. All of them has died now and I am trying to find if there is any family left. |
