GEORGE MOSS was born 1756 in the 16th Regiment of Foot (probably in Ireland ) married HELEN REID 1777 Edinburgh by Chaplain of Regiment Cof E children WILLIAM born 1786 Windsor- died ?? GEORGE born 1788 Plymouth Devon- died Hesket New Market Cumberland UK 1854 ELIZABETH born 1791 Galway Ireland died 1866 in York Asylum George Moss was Adjutant Lieutenant of Leeds Recruiting district from about 1796 until his death in 1831. I have not found anything on his son William , son George 1788/1854 also a Lieutenant in Army married Helen Hadley Felton in Barbados 1814 , he retired on half pay and settled in Cumberland . Have most family information and both Georges Army papers, would like to find William born 1796-? |
