I'M TRYING TO FIND MY MUM'S DAD, THOMAS CLAUDE MOUNCE, ALL SHE KNOW'S IS THAT HE WAS AN ENGLISH SOLDIER FROM THE LANES NORTHWOLD THETFORD NORFOLK, WHO CAME TO TILLINGHAM IN ESSEX DURING 1945 - 1948 WE THINK HE WAS GUARDING A PRISONER OF WAR CAMP THERE, NOT QUITE SURE OF THE EXACT YEAR, BUT MY NAN MARY NELLIE MINNIE HULL WAS BORN THERE IN 1930 AND HAD MY MUM RITA MARY HULL IN DECEMBER 1948. THOMAS PAID MAINTENANCE FOR MY MUM UNTIL HER 16th BIRTHDAY. AND HE MARRIED A WOMAN CALLED CHAROLETTE ANNE WE DON'T KNOW HER SURNAME. HE MIGHT HAVE BE BORN IN 1920 AS MY NAN SAY'S HE WAS OLDER THAN HER. IF ANYONE CAN HELP I'D REALLY APPRECIATE IT THANKS |
