I'm trying to find my father LAWRENCE JOHN MURPHY who was born sometime between 1895 and 1910 in a small village near Cork, Ireland. Although he was married with children, he had a relationship with my mother Evelyn Higginson (now 97) and I was born in London in 1936. Working in England as a clerk at the Ministry of Labour he lived at several addresses in SW6 and NW1. I don't know if he stayed in the UK after the relationship ended and may have returned to his native Ireland. Hopefully someone out there will know of him or perhaps his children will still be alive. All I seek is closure on this part of my life. |
