Trying to find info on Grandfather Neale

My Grandfather was born Edward Neale in 1904. His fathers name was George Neale. Grandad small birth cert.is registered for Gloucester, South Hamlet. I believe his father died and he was adopted and his name became Edward Neale Jones and he lived in Lower Tufley, Gloucester in the parish of Quedgley and had step brothers and sisters. He joined the Gloucester Regiment in 1921. At this time he put his date of birth as 1903. By the time he married he had changed his name back to Neale. He married Edith Scarbrough 1929 in Somercotes, Derby. Would love to hear from anyone who can help me fill in a few gaps. |
