My father was John Burnie Niven, born 1919 in Dumfries. His Mother was Rachel Burnie Niven and his sister was May/Jean Gillespie Niven. His Mother had 2 brothers, one called Malcolm Burnie? I think the one was an Army Officer and Malcolm was a Chiropodist. My family lived in Edinburgh when we were young children then we went to Africa. My father also had a half sister from his mother's second marriage, Helen Graham, whose father was Bob Graham.I was wondering if anyone recognises this information. Maybe I have some cousins out there? Thanks for any info, Geraldine Niven. |
