My mothers youngest brother was left in Australia after ww2, he was wounded and in hospitail. Later he married a nurse called Jean. I only know that they had two children Micheal and Jennifer Mary. Micheal died young and the couple divorced. In 1970/71 my uncle died in Melbourne. His name was James Patrick Pearcey, but he joined the merchant navy underage and in his mothers maiden name O'Brien. Last known he lived in Fitzroy with a family called Stephens. Who called him Pat, due to his Irish parentige.
If you are Jennifer or you know of her please get intouch. I have been searching for many years and would love to close 2007 with good news. Jackie
