My name is Patricia Doreen Peak, I am looking for any relatives of my grandparents: Henry John Oakley & Ellen Matilda Oakley Nee' Belcher. Dont know what happened to grandmother, but grandfather emigrated to Canada/America after ww1, returned to take his son also Henry John Oakley back over there. A daughter was also born Florence Margaret, married James Kenny my parents. There is a possibility of another child, Nellie, but think she could have been a cousin to Henry John jnr. If anyone can tell me what happened to Ellen Matilda, as I have hit a brick wall, don't know if she died, remarried or what, but my mother was brought up in an orphanage. The family lived in & around the Islington, My mother being born in Copenhagen Street/Road in 1912. Any information would be appreciated |
