using information in the indexes and tying it in with known facts I believe that John amis married Hannah oakley (born about 1822 in Scarning Norfolk),mitford 1844.I know nothing about Hannah's background does anyone else? John and Hannah had a large family one of whom Charles David 1860 was my g-grandfather.

This could be her in 1841

The 1841 census does not show relationships and the ages here make it hard to be clear. You need the marriage certificate for Hannah Oakley to find out if James was her father.
