Trying to find Park

John Report 20 May 2007 23:13

Trying to find information on John Park, born about 1825. According to 1841 census was born in Dogshall. After contacting Yorks BDMS this could originally been Dogs Hole near Croft. 1851 census states he was born at Annaby. Again Yorks BDMS could not find this place but suggested Halnaby also near Croft. His father was John Park married to Hannah, surname unkown. The 1851 census had him residing in Walkerfield, this again is a misinterpretation as it is Wackerfield. Regards John Park
