I am trying to find information on my great uncle, William George A Parker. He was born in Kings Norton in 1883 and shows up on the 1891 Census (although the surname is wrongly transcribed as Parkes!!), but that is the only place I can find him.

I am also trying to find his brother, Vernon (could be Vernon Henry or Vernon S) (also wrongly transcribed as Parkes on the 1891 Census) and also born in Kings Norton, but in 1885. Vernon does show up on the 1901 census, by which time the family are living at Topsfield Parade, Hornsey, London.

Does anyone have either of them in their tree, please?

What do you think about the Anglo-Boer war? I mean, as a location for William in 1901. ;)
