I am trying to find anyone who knew him or of him.
I believe he worked as a fireman at RAF Sutton on Hull in 1946 or the late 1940's and then lived in Hull, Yorkshire, or the surrounding area, for some years after that.
He used to drive a pony and trap in the early fifties, leaving wheel marks all the way down Holderness Road, but I am not sure if he was of the farming community or if, as my brother said, was an icecream man!
I think he was from Cornwall originally and my parents thought that that was where he went back to, sometime in the 1950's, but they were not sure.
Any information whatsoever would be greatly appreciated.
