My father was George Albert Paxton, [probably born between 1914 - 1919] he was a Garage Proprietor in the Whitstable area of Kent. When I was 18 months old, my sister Jennifer was born, but adopted at birth as George was expecting another child by his Mistress [presumably his second wife] in 1947. Jennifer has subsequently traced me and my family and we enjoy a wonderful close relationship and have made up for 44 years of lost time together. However, we would llike to know what happened to George Albert and would be pleased to have any contact with any member of this new branch of the family. We believe that he went with his new family to South Africa only to return to Sussex some time later. |
