Lil (as she was known) was my grandmother born 1918 in Adelaide South Australia her father John William Payne 1880 was born in Cannington England according to her birth certificate. There is no John Payne in the records born in Cannington. Apparently the first grand daughter was always called Lilias Eileen. Does anyone recognise these names? |
