hi,
I would like to find out if my mother in-law is still alive, could some one find out for me?
Her name was-is Drorothy Pears maiden name Rea she was born in Darlington in 1938, was married in Darlington in July 1959 to John Lawrence Pears, who died in Bradford in 1990, she had a daughter Loraine in 1960, she had a son John Philip (my husband) in 1962 born in Darlington, my husband was told she died in childbirth when he was born. He's never met her, but thinks he has a brother Jeffery Pears born October 1967, which is confusing, is his mum still alive ???? or is their a stepmother??? my husband spent his childhood in Banardo's homes and with foster parents,
any help would be very much apprieciated Lesley.

We don't know who, we just know it was registered in September 1990,

There is someone called Tracy with Jeffrey Pears born 1967 in her tree on this site have you contacted her?

District is Middlesborough on the index. Tracy has him as born Darlington Middlesborough.

I have sent Tracy a message,
Sam my husband is very grateful to you for your help he has just had a little weep because he has known what I said up there ^^^ about his mum for a number of years and only marginally believed it,

Also a Colin M Pears mothers maiden name Rea 4th qtr 1965 Middlesborough

Just looked in Search Trees and there is a Colin Pears b Middlesborough 1965 with a tree.

I was wondering how you had got on.

It must be a big shock for your husband - I hope he is coping with it - he must have a lot of questions that he will need answers to and I hope he can accept and be happy with what he discovers.
