The village is now spelt Fowlmere in Cambridgeshire, if that is any help. |

Please can anyone help. I am looking for my grandmothers family who were all born and lived and worked in the Foulmire / Royston areas of Cambridgeshie. Their names are Samuel Pearce born 1820 and his wife Susan (could be Susannah) born 1817 . And his Son John born 1848 and his wife Elizabeth ( maiden name Wood). John and his wife moved to Camberwell in London where they lived and raised their family. The Family name started out as Pearce but then changed to Pearse with John somewhere along the line. If anyone can help then please contact me. |
