Sidney Christopher Pickersgill appears on both 1891 and 1901 censuses as the grandson of William Pickersgill and Mary (nee Dowson), born c. 1883.
I can't find any info on birth/marriage/death/war records, etc. for Sidney, or any other family tree links. Can anybody help? He is a mystery - he was my great-uncle.

Regards
Gareth Chapman

after looking at the census for previous years, it shows that William and mary had a daughter Jane Ann b. 1861. She is single in 1881 working as a servant in Richmond, I wonder if sidney and maybe Ada were her children, born out of wedlock? Just a suggestion! I may well be wrong

on the census birth shown as 1878/9.
Have you tried looking for alternative spelling? Sydney?
There is a Sydney Charles Pickersgill registered 1878,Richmond,Yorkshire.
Could the middle name have been changed?
