Trying to find Powell

I am trying to find relatives of Frank Powell. He was born in the 1930`s and was the youngest of 13 children. He was born in the workhouse at Pontefract Yorkshire and his mother`s name was Charlotte. She died either immediately after or a short time after giving birth to him. Frank had 12 siblings some of who died in childhood. The living ones I know of are: Joan, Robert, Walter, John, Sally, Florence, Mary, Frank`s father was called Robert and they lived around Knottingley although Robert Powell originally came from Ireland. Frank worked on local farms as a labourer for some years and married a lady from Great Houghton by the name of Phyllis Hopwood. |
