Trying to find any information about Chase Price born in 1788, he died in Bridgnorth, Shropshire, March 1838 from dropsey. He was a schoolmaster and lived at Bernards Hill. Family tales are that he was at the Battle of Trafalgar on board the Victory and may have lost a leg during the battle. He may have trained earlier in his life to be a parson or vicar. He had a daughter Mercy born February 1838 in Bridgnorth just before his death. Mercy had a son Thomas Edward Price born November 1861 in Bridgnorth. Do these names mean anything to anyone ? Anna. |
