I am trying to frind Robert Proctor born abt 1868 ( middlesex) Stratford, Bethnal green area. He married Harriett griggs 1889 in Bethnal Green and then brought his family up in West Ham. His father was also Robert Proctor. Any info would be great as this one is a real mystery !!!!!

Yes the census with his wife Harriett ( not Blumor) is him and I have today ordered the birth cert just to check.

I have his dad a Robert Proctor also and occupation "HAWKER" if there is such a thing. My dad seems to think it was a kind of street seller ?

i wish I could find something on the census for him in 1871 as a child but no links come up.
