Trying to find Rieck

Hello Trudy, probably not terribly helpful, but my grandfather Rieck's family came from Traneaker (?sp) near the German border of Denmark. I understand that Rieck is a name which changes as the german border changed over times (sometimes it was Germany, at others, Denmark). When in Germany it was at times spelled Riech (as in Reich but with the internal vowels reversed). Hope this might help your search. Jo
