Looking for descendants and/or ancestors of William Riley, born 1857 and Mary Carney, born 1862 They are my paternal great grandparents. Their daughter Lilian born 1892 in Lancaster was my grandmother. I believe that Williams father was John Riley born 1814 in Freckelton, Lancashire. The only thing I am certain of is William and Mary as I have their names from Lilian's marriage license.
Lilian Riley married George Henry Hill of Preston, Lancashire- George Hill returned to Canada after ww1 met Lilian, raised a small family in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. I have lots of Riley pictures, some of which I can't identify, but would be thrilled to find others researching or connected to this family.
