Member Since: October 2005 Posts: 12 Send Message	I am trying to find information on Harriet Amelia ROWLEY believed born c1870 in New Zealand. She married Peter McGowan - date and location unknown. They had one child, Frederick William (my grandfather) c1889/1890 in NZ (I've seen both dates on documents). Harriet and Fred moved to Australia appx 1907 after Peter had died. I have not been able to locate a birth certificate for Fred in NZ, they cannot find anything. His Army sign-up papers etc all indicate that he was born in Christchurch. Any information gratefully accepted.
